Nayantara
Nayanthara was born in Tiruvalla in Kerala on November 8th, 1984. Her father named her Diana Mariam Kurien. Nayanthara is a Syrian Christian. Kurian and Omana Kodiyattu are her parents. Her father was an Indian Air Force official. She has studied in different parts of the nation. She has a brother Lenu; he lives in United Arab Emirates, Dubai. She pursued her college from Marthoma College in Thiruvalla there she took Literature in English for her Bachelor degree. She is a famous star in Tamil Film industry.
She had appeared in movies of different languages. Most of her films are of Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. Her debut film was Manassinakkare, the movie was in Malayalam, and this movie was directed by Satyan Anthikkad he selected Nayantara when she used to study in college. Her debut film in Tamil was Ayya with Sarath Kumar followed by the movie Chandramukhi. The movie was a super hit; the movie was a hilarious horror movie starring Super Star Rajnikanth, this movie became one of the biggest hits in the Tamil Film Industry. This movie successfully ran over 700 days. Later on she was seen in the movie Ghajini where she played the supporting character for the lead actor. This movie was also highly appreciated.
Later on, she debut in Telugu cinema with the film Lakshmi. Then, she starred with the biggest stars of the Indian South Cinema; Venkatesh and Nagarjuna in the movie Boss. She bounced back to fame with the movie Bella which was directed by Vishnuvardhan the movie was about a gangster. Nayantara has many movies to her credit her like Adurs in Telugu, Simha and Bodyguard in Malayalam one of the most successful movie was Aadhavan with Surya which ran for many days. Nayantara’s forthcoming movies are Electra in Malayalam directed by Shyamaprasad’s and in Tamil Boss Engira Bhaskaran with actor Arya. She is also making her debut in Kannada films; starring with the famous actor Upendra.
The first family drama movie played by her was Yaaradi Nee Mohini which was in Tamil. This movie was amongst the highest earning movie in that year. This movie received seven nominations award at the South Filmfare awards. In her career, she has won some Filmfare awards which are as follows. The first award she received was for her debut movie Manassinakkare from Asianet Award for Best Female New Face of the Year. Then she won filmfare award for the movie Billa. She also won the Favorite Heroine award for her movie Yaaradi Nee Mohini from Vijay Award. Moreover, she had been nominated for many movies in the south film industry.
